beginning...

As my youngest child took her first official nap in her crib, I started thinking that I really need to document all the little special moments better- it seems like there are so many little moments that probably don't really matter to anyone but me, but I want to remember them. I just wish I started earlier (story of my life). We have the baby calendars & baby books, but they don't give you a place to tell the day to day stories & happenings in our lives. So I've decided to do what several of my friends do & blog about it. If anyone ever reads this besides me, I hope you enjoy it :)

Let me start with this:

We just got back from our yearly summer lake vacation where we lounged around, swam, ate entirely too much good food, read books/magazines, took naps and really just all around had a good time. While there: Anna started waving "hello" & "goodbye", started crawling and as soon as we came home, started pulling up in earnest (hence the need to get busy transitioning her from the co-sleeper to her crib). Then just this morning, I felt the very tippy tip of a tooth coming in... I was just pregnant! Time is speeding by too fast already. I'm not much of a writer, so this is probably going to be a rambling mess :) Last night the boys had cousins spend the night too... they had so much fun. I overheard Trenton say: "what was that you were saying Aubrey?" it just killed me- he sounded sooo grown up. Owen keeps cracking me up with the way he says things: soh adoh-able is what he calls Anna, and instead of monster, it's mon-er. It's so cute, but I think I need to have him re-evaluted for speech. Anyway the point is... I love my little family & I want to keep closer track of the little things...

Alright- gotta start dinner... but that's my start- hope I'll get better at it :)
